Sprint’s challenge was to lead the competition in data services. In order to meet this challenge, Sprint needed to implement data services solutions that enabled differentiation, marketed content more effectively and enhanced the end user experience to drive mobile content adoption. Sprint engaged in a partnership with Motricity to launch the Game Lobby from Sprint, a nationwide virtual mobile community for mobile gamers to meet, challenge each other and make game recommendations to friends. Powered by Motricity's award-winning Fuel platform, the Game Lobby provides Sprint’s subscribers with a community of end users focused on mobile gaming that is accessible from the mobile Web, fixed Internet and Game Lobby-enabled games. Game Lobby is a free service to Sprint subscribers.
Benefits
The Game Lobby from Sprint enables single user identity across all Game Lobby games, regardless of publisher. Members can manage and personalize their identity within the community, from posting images to opt-in notifications for new game alerts. Game Lobby also provides other consistently implemented features such as uploading scores, viewing leaderboards, rating games and the ability to meet and chat with other players. The Game Lobby provides a comprehensive and user-friendly gaming experience under Sprint’s branding.
